MENSK - Roof Top Film - Sunday July 30th

Howdee,

Welcome from mid summer! Things are happening in our greater Portland metro arena.
Next sunday (July 30th) is the Roof Top Film Festival. We have the local band "the Poor Valley Salvation Society" playing through sunset, after which we will show a local short named "Sadie's Last Day" followed by the feature "The Karate Kid". It will be loads of fun so come one/ come all. Rain or stars!! We have done away with renting chairs so be prepared by bringing your own. Pillows and blankets are great too. One of the major ways we promote this happening is by putting up posters. I
tend to try to place them in areas that won't get torn down i.e. in businesses/galleries/common areas. i generally don't put then up on the flier boards around town until very late in the week. That being said, Xpress Copy which is at 144 fore st. and is open from 8am-6pm m-f has a stack of posters ready to go, and they can make more if they run out so... if you have the time and desire to put some up all you have to do is stop by Xpress and ask for the roof top posters. take as many as you think you can put up.

Although the "Incubator" series has gotten off to a slow start beside several appearances by that fantastic troupe of Tango dancers, we are still encouraging each and every creative who has saleable work to concentrate every friday in congress sq. (or where ever is most comfortable to you) to exercise your right to sell art on the streets of our fair city.

Nough Said!
